This multi-faceted home was designed to encompass true indoor/outdoor living. The main floor hosting the kitchen, dining, wet bar, and living fully open to the courtyard pool and spa. The roof structure over the courtyard was designed with open skylights to capture sun and the elements. 

Design is contemporary, yet warm with IPE wood accents, walnut furniture, and clean crisp lines. Large format concrete floor tiles and wood grain high lacquer cabinetry tell the story of coolness meeting warmth with a serene outcome. A sense of light was extremely important to the design. 

LED light details were carefully designed into many aspects of the home; below the baseboard, above the cabinet crown molding, behind floating vanity mirrors, under vanity cabinetry, and behind a meticulously designed curved entry wall featuring floating wood IPE.

Modern design with organic elements and textures.  Wood tones and crisp whites lend to a clean yet earthy vibe. 

Sugar Sand

This project was a labor of creative love.  An extensive remodel of an old ranch home, the partial demotion uncovered unexpected ceiling height details and old brick was uncovered in the gable ends of the kitchen, living room, and master bedroom.  

Beams were added in the ceiling, carefully spaced to play off the uniqueness of the ceiling angles and pitches.  Soft LED lighting was added with a wood beam detail to bring attention to the beautiful old brick.  

The custom wood dining table and live edge slab bar were natural spotlights, so a cluster of pendants was designed with random sizes and heights to accent these beautiful pieces.  

Tabby shell was used on the complete exterior to bring a warm cottage feel and layers of molding and trim work details were carefully designed to add richness.  The combination created a beautiful and elegant grace.

This coastal cottage brings relaxation to it's finest, with natural design elements, open style kitchen with eating nook nestled in the corner, and  the warmth of wood scissor beams in the living room.  Pool with spa and loungers on the sun deck complete the relaxation.

Waterfall Shower

The vision began as a challenge to do something totally unexpected. The master suite, situated at the top of a tower, needed a spectacular feature to compete with the incredible view looking down the valley. The space was a dark corner with no natural light. Oh how I wanted a skylight, however the roof design did not allow me such frivolities. So, I thought and thought…what would be unique? I wanted to create an experience…perhaps duplicate the feeling of frolicking under a waterfall, sunlight dancing through the jungle canopy above. Yes! What should one feel? Absolutely Everything!

Needed was the relentless organic blast of a million gallons of water per second while infiltrating every sense of sight and touch. Three sheets of textured glass suspend from the ceiling in a stepped fashion. Water trickles over the glass, dripping to the sheet below and finally off the edge and down the wall creating the illusion of standing under a waterfall and peering up to the allure of the sun playing hide and seek through the leaves. Another manifold creates a weeping wall of water as another main rush of water cascades out of the carefully crafted boulders. 

A heated towel bar adds the perfect warmth and touch to complete the experience of this spectacular daily bathing ritual…

Ranch of Style

This Ranch was created with layer upon layer of detailed custom handcraftsmanship.  Every detail that was important to the client was carefully thought out and created an evolution to this unique home and property.

This massive remodel took an existing sad log home and revitalized it into a hybrid of styles.  A tower wing was added that became the master suite.  Craftsman carefully hand-scribed new logs to match existing structure for a seamless flow.  Many ideas and requests from the home owner added a level of uniqueness to each craftsman who graced this project.
